Spring Training Photos: I’ve Got It All

Barry Bonds: I'm an international baseball superstar. I've hit 708 home runs, my own reality show coming out on ESPN, and a newfound sense of humor. I've really got it all.

Ken Griffey, Jr.: Hey, I'm an international baseball superstar. Sure, I might have only a measly 536 home runs and coverage in 100 games on Fox Sports Ohio, but there's one thing I've got that you lost long ago.

Barry Bonds: Yeah? What's that?

Yeah? What's that?

Ken Griffey, Jr.: Dignity.

Dignity.

I can’t really even think of the Paula Abdul thing as a new-found sense of humor for Bonds. It just seems to scripted since it just so happened to take place on the day they started filming his reality show. It’s more like some ESPN writer’s version of Bonds’ sense of humor.

Then again I’m a Pirate fan and you can’t be a Pirate fan and not hate the guy. It’s a rule.

Yeah, I sniff a media stunt too. Before I didn’t like Bonds for being an arrogant jerk. Now I don’t respect him for being a sell-out.

On a completely unrelated note, Funnyball is still available!

Barry Bonds in drag. Just what I needed to see first thing in the morning. Never mind the eggs and bacon, just pass me the Pepto Bismol, and please turn off that darn, um, TV, if you’ll pardon the pun…

That makes three things Bonds did that Ken Griffey Jr. has never done: take steroids, quit on his teammates, and dress up like a girl.

Those pics are an insult to Paula Abdul.
