Aurilia on DL; Olmedo in his Place

Marc says that Rich Aurilia has been placed on the 15 day disabled list as a result of the groin strain suffered in last night's game. The Reds have recalled Ray Olmedo to take his place. He will be wearing number 62.

I'm not sure that Olmedo's back is large enough to fit the number 62 on it; it may wrap around to the front of his shirt. What I am sure of is that I couldn't be more pleased. I *love* little Ray Ray.

Hey, we finally figured out why the game last night was able to be played after all. You guys are really wonderful guests, I must say. 🙂

Dude, you know Aurilia is totally coming back first. No question.

I’m fairly certain that in a pre-game interview with Jim Day, Brandon said he was married and has two daughters. He also is an avid bowler.

Hmm. I got my information from a reliable source, but I’ll ask around and see if I can find anything more out. Brandon would be pretty young to have two kids, but I suppose you never know.
