By special request, this post is titled “Curse of the Goat,” and it's really appropriate, because Arroyo is going tonight and he's my personal goat for the team. Or he was, back when I cared.
So, what the heck is up with changing the rotation so Zambrano doesn't go against Harang? Do they figure going against Harang is a lost cause anyway so they might as well save Zambrano's start for someone else? Or is he just chicken?
Mmm…chicken. Personally, I'm enjoying some lovely fondue tonight courtesy of my aspiring chef brother while the fam plays Wii and I listen to the game on the radio. It's the only way to spend a Friday night. Now if the Reds will just play their role of spoiler, everything will be right with the world.
Marty doesn’t think that Arroyo should keep throwing fastballs to Soriano. I wonder what the team would be like if Marty were the manager.
this is it… everything looks so good for the Cubs… now comes the choke in the late innings and they go on to get swept and blow the playoffs. “There’s a goat on the field!”
Now the Cubs are up by 4?? Jeepers, they’re really setting themselves up.
Coffey’s in. Wouldn’t it be great if his first name were Joe?
this is a real mediocre lineup we are sporting here.. if we somehow rally to win this one the Cubs are doomed.
Did the Cubs really change their rotation? See if that is true that is what makes Pinella a genius, because Harang has beat Zambrano like 5 times in a row now.
I hear Steve Bartman made this road trip to watch his beloved Cubbies clinch the division….
In that case, we’ll all have to do The Bartman when I’m in the stadium on Sunday.

Did the Brewers lose? I think they did.. I guess its over. The Reds couldn’t even play spoiler for a day or two. What a crappy season this has been. Oh well. Can’t wait for the winter meetings. I just know Kriv-dawg is gonna pull the trigger on some crazy deal that will have us all excited and/or agitated.

Ryan Freel last night was inducted into a
hall of fame. He went into His College’s
(TCC or Tallahassee Comunity College)
I love how no one knows about it.
The media has sayed nothing. When Casey’s
high School number was retiered they were all over it
