Happy Cinco De Mayo

Not only is it Cinco de Mayo, it's also the 12-year anniversary of my and the CTS's first date as well as the day my baby brother graduates from Ball State University with a degree in accounting. Not bad for an autistic kid!

Party hardy, everyone, and be safe.

It’s also “Boys’ Day.” In Hawaii, they fly a carp flag for each son in the family.

I hear in Japan it’s now “Children’s Day.” They fly a koi flag for each kid, boy or girl. Or they fly three, one for mom, one for dad, one for the kids.

Congrats to your brother. (Ball State, heh-heh. I used to think Letterman had made up Ball State, as a joke.)

    Congrats all around, RHM! 😉

You know what would make Cinco de Mayo really great? (besides a gallon of Margaritas and some kick ass nachos) Harang throwing 9 shutout innings tonight and the offense beating the Rockies pitchers like a pinata! Oh, and some enchiladas.

ANd now Victor Santos joins the parade of mediocrity that is the Reds bullpen 2007. Salmon and Coutlangus looked good at the end, but too little too late. We are in BIG trouble and we have zero trade bait. I would bring Hermanson back in if we haven;t offended him forever by cutting him in the Spring. The losing streak reaches 4…

As someone at RR put it, “Happy Cinco de Stinko.”

But maybe Coutlangus and Salmon have made a case for themselves. Make them the setup man and closer.

Don’t ask me how we bridge the gap from starter to setup man, though.
