NOOOOOOOOOOO!

From Reds.com:

CINCINNATI -- If his 2008 option isn't picked up, Adam Dunn might have played his last game with the Reds.

BEFORE I start off here, I want to say that my son’s favorite player is Adam Dunn, and quite frankly he is one of mine too because I still want to see a ball land in the river and he is our only hope of that, and some of his home runs are jaw-dropping in nature.

I am just not convinced Adam Dunn is the answer even at a relative bargain (which I disagree with because I think we can land two very good relievers with his salary…)

I’ve always said if they give you bonus points for home run distance Adam Dunn would be the MVP… but they don’t. And this was a plus year for him and he still couldn’t hit .270 and still made a bunch of gaffes defensively. I just think with Jay Bruce in the pipeline and Griffey under contract and the emergence of Hopper, there is simply no room for Dunn on this team anymore. Maybe he gets one more year while Bruce gets more seasoning at AAA but what if Hopper continues to hit? Perhaps they trade Freel, although he is so valuable as a utility guy I don’t see how they can do that. Even without Dunn in this lineup we have plenty of power and without him we most certainly have better average, better contact hitting, and less strikeouts. And probably less goofiness too. I like Dunn, but I am just not sure he has what it takes to lead this team to the playoffs. Having said that, I could envision him going under a manager like LaMafia or Torre and suddenly hitting 50 home runs and driving in 140. Just seems like the fire is missing under our relatively laid back managers. Maybe I am wrong, it won’t be the first time… and Krivsky is under fire as it is so maybe he avoids a potential PR nightmare by taking the easy way out and simply exercising his option … but once he becomes a free agent I don’t see him remaining with the Reds anymore, because of the Jay Bruce and Josh Hamilton factors. We have a glut of outfielders — and all of them are better defensively and strike out less than Dunn. And make significantly less moolah.

You were doing so well with those first two paragraph breaks. Shame about those last 19 lines of solid text.

Again, mama, if you give me an edit option I can clean this up afterwards… I tend to type on emotion and edit afterwards.

Also, don’t think I am not gonna mention the fact that MAJEWSKI was once again tonight the friggin goat. Seriously, is this gettin; more than ridiculous or what? i am beyond anger, I am beyond words, I am beyond death threats.. I am now venturing into the realm of surreal hallucination. This just can’t be reality. No team is this idiotic.
