Good News for a Change (Obviously Not Reds Related)
By Zeldink
It looks like the MLB Players Association (MLBPA) lost their case about players' stats being personal property. That's good news, not only for fantasy sites, but for blogs and other places that utilize that information.
The case didn't make much sense to me. How could there be ownership of publicly available information?

Remember several years back when Disney was going around the elementary schools and church youth groups and demanding that the children stop whistling “heigh-ho, heigh-ho, it’s off to work we go” during their little plays and programs and stuff? In my imagination, MLB wanted a piece of that kind of sweet action. I mean, just look how profitable and popular it would make them!
