Bronson Arroyo In Concert

See Cincinnati Reds pitcher Bronson Arroyo perform a benefit concert on Sunday, July 1, at 6:30 p.m. at the Madison Theatre in Covington! Proceeds from the concert will benefit the Reds Community Fund and its baseball outreach programs.

General Admission tickets are $20 per person. A limited number of VIP tickets are available for $150. The VIP ticket includes seating, food, drink, meet and greet with Bronson, and the chance to sit with Reds players during the concert.

In 2004, Arroyo released a 12-song album called “Covering the Bases,” which featured cover songs that he would play for his teammates as a member of the Boston Red Sox.

Screaming Mimes, a favorite local band, will open the concert. A number of Reds players are scheduled to join Arroyo at the concert.

Event Location: Madison Theatre in Covington, 728 Madison Ave., Covington, Kentucky

Please note that the concert is open only to fans 16 and older.

Non Reds Thought of the Night

I just saw a commercial for an Infiniti luxury car. Its console was all decked out in shiny fake wood.
Which led me to wonder: doesn't it seem like if it were a real luxury car, its console would be decked out in shiny real wood? Not only would it be classy, but it would have the added benefit of making the car lighter than a duck.
