Hey, look! It's the top of the fourth and the Reds are up 0-5. The offense is supporting Bronson Arroyo (who's also supporting himself with a solo shot) and the Giants just keep failing to steal off David Ross. There's a real danger of the Reds winning a series.
Dude, when was the last time that happened? I'm going to have to go look it up.
Either way, lovely summer evening.
The answer is June 8-10 when they took two of three against the Indians. Before that, May 29-31 against the Astros.
They’re going to need to win series more than every two weeks. In fact, they’re going to need to do more than win all of their series. About a 30-game winning streak is in order, methinks.
Richie Aurilia just got two runs for the Giants, as if in direct response to me saying that the Reds might win. Dammit, Richie!
It’s the fourth inning. About time to pull Arroyo, right? This is when Belisle came out yesterday, right?
