Brewers Swing 6-Player Trade With Diamondbacks

Yesterday the Brewers pulled off a six-player trade with the Arizona Diamondbacks:

Milwaukee received former All-Star catcher Johnny Estrada, right-handed starter Claudio Vargas and right-handed reliever Greg Aquino for steady left-handed starter Doug Davis and a pair of prospects, lefty Dana Eveland and outfielder David Krynzel.

I can't say I'm sorry to see Doug Davis leaving the division. I can say I'm sorry that it's Johnny Estrada and not Erik Estrada coming to town. Hubba hubba.

I see Erik Estrada on late-night TV sometimes, doing infomercials for vacation property in Arkansas or some such thing. Usually wearing a baggy Aloha shirt. Let’s just say he’s not a young chippy any more. [img][/img]

I heard on the radio this morning that Erik Estrada is in Muncie, Indiana even as we speak filming a reality show. He, LaToya Jackson, and a few other minor celebrities are going to be training to be Muncie police officers.

So, in fact, he’s coming much closer to my town than if he were on his way to Milwaukee. Next time I’m in Middle Town, USA, I’ll try to get arrested and report all about it on RHM.
