Let the Bunt Go

I hate to bump Hamilton's homer, but something has to be said about Thom Brennaman's inability to stop talking about Edwin Encarnación's at-bat in the 11th inning. He's been talking about whether he should have bunted for about an hour and a half.

It's 12:47 a.m. EDT and the freaking 11th inning. Let the bunt go, man. Have a beer or something.

I was just logging on to say something to the same affect. He is totally obsessed about that bunt.. he looked bad in his attempt so Narron took it off. No big deal… but Brennaman wants to talk about it for the next 89 minutes.

I don’t like the way Jerry handled the pen.. you ask for 2 innings out of Weathers after burning Coffey and Stanton on just 1 batter each. Terrible.

I couldn’t believe Thom. I understand being critical of something but it seems he’s trying a little too hard to not come off as a homer.

You know you are harping on things too much when Chris Welsch is starting to argue with you.
