The Rejuvenator

The Rejuvenator

Remarkable! It really DOES make him look years younger!

Phht. That’s nothing. I’ve seen pictures of Jimmy sucking in his gut wearing a half shirt after we beat the Dodgers last October.

  2. Red Hot Mama says:

That sounds fantastic. Is there a link?

  3. bellyscratcher says:

    I have access to it….

  4. Red Hot Mama says:

What, are you asking for a bribe or something? How ’bout we spot you a couple runs in the first. Oh wait, it’s too late for that now, isn’t it?

  5. bellyscratcher says:

If I were to ask for a "recognition," it would probably be something along the lines of "Don’t be like the Pirates and act like the Cubs’ farm team."

    Actually, I’m still at work.

  6. Red Hot Mama says:

Aha. That’s too bad. Well, later, maybe.

BTW – I just wanted to let you know that I think it is so sweet that the Cardinals let their bat boy play catcher. He’s pretty good, too. Just think what he’ll be capable of when he finished puberty.

  7. bellyscratcher says:

You mean that bat boy who just got an RBI? The bat boy who picked a guy off 1st last night? The bat boy who threw out a guy at 2nd by a mile last night?

That one? The one that owns your team? Yeah, pretty sweet.

  8. Red Hot Mama says:

A minor point, I know, but I don’t think he technically "owns" the Reds. I’m pretty sure the Reds are being held in trust until he turns 18.

Another scintillating night from the Reds’ offense. Amazing they can’t get anything through on a team that has such poor depth perception that they can’t even shake hands.

Someone ought to get those fellas some bifocals or something.

  9. bellyscratcher says:

I guess Pickle Boy is more relish than Dill, eh?

  10. bellyscratcher says:

I apologize. That was really bad.

  11. bellyscratcher says:

So, how’d you like your second look at our new hotness?

  12. Red Hot Mama says:

He is pretty fine, I’ll give you that. Too bad it’s not a beauty pagent.

Actually, it *is* too bad. We might have a chance in that contest. There are some hotties on the Reds.

Graves got an out! In your face!

  13. bellyscratcher says:

    Wow. Graves got them 1-2-3.

Ah, Cali’s in now. A little present for the Reds.

  14. Red Hot Mama says:

I like this Cali fellow. You should put him in more; Flopez could use more opportunities to prove himself.

  15. bellyscratcher says:

Does Dunn have a melon or what? My goodness.

  16. bellyscratcher says:

    CaHRmen CAAAli.

  17. Red Hot Mama says:

    He’s a big boy, that’s for sure.

Well, that about does it. I must commend you on your snaps: they’ve come a long way over these three days. I look forward to the fourth week of June. My guys ought to be as far into first place as mathematically possible by then.

  18. bellyscratcher says:

    Oh, there’s always the Pirates.

I have to admit, I am uncomfortable razzing other teams, even if it is all in good fun. There’s just something about it that makes me feel like I’m taunting the Baseball Gods.

Except for the Cubs. I could make fun of them all day.

  19. Red Hot Mama says:

It’s easy to pick on the Cardinals, since we’re always, constantly a step behind. I would find it harder to pick on a team that’s worse than the Reds, and not just because it would take me so long to find one.

I agree about the Cubs. Are there any lady Cubs bloggers we can gang up on?

  20. bellyscratcher says:

None that I know of, which is kinda surprising considering how many blogs are dedicated to that particular train wreck. There’s throws like a girl for the Astros, but she’s gone big-time at All Baseball.

  21. Red Hot Mama says:

Maybe we’ll get lucky and some Astros lady without the obligation to be professional will show up talking trash, then we can put the smack down on her proper.

In the mean time, I’ll be working on my material for June. Should you decide before then that you want to root for a *real* team, I’ll be happy to show you the ropes. 😉

  22. bellyscratcher says:

I root for two teams, the Cardinals and whoever plays the Cubs. So anytime the Reds play Chicago, they’ve got one more fan.

Late June? That’s a ways away. We’ll probably be resting guys for the playoffs by then.
