Billy Boy Bray now pitching… facing Morneau… line out to Hatteberg.

Yeoman effort by Meadows…nice job, no earned runs.

  2. Zeldink says:

If the Twins announcers can be believed–and I know that’s a big if considering their lack of knowledge about the Reds–then Torii Hunter’s going to be okay.

That’s good news. Injuries are one thing about sports that I like the least.

  3. smartelf says:

ground out, fly out… 3 up and 3 down.

  4. Zeldink says:

Bases are loaded with nobody out. Anyboy know who’s pitching for the Reds?

  5. BubbaFan says:

I think they said Belisle. (Sp?)

  6. Zeldink says:

It was Belisle. Not an impressive beginning, but he managed to get out of it without allowing any runs somehow.

  7. BubbaFan says:

    Another error for Machado.

    And Young Votto’s in.

  8. BubbaFan says:

I can’t believe Ruben Sierra signed with the Mets. An NL team?

  9. Zeldink says:

What position is he planning on playing? He can only pinch-hit once a game.

  10. BubbaFan says:

Sierra is theoretically an outfielder, but the average hatrack has more range than he does.

Gawd, these Twinkies announcers are dopey. Bubba over-exposed? He barely saw the light of day with the Yankees. Heck, since when to the Yanks over-expose any prospect???

Another double to left for Bubba…

  11. Zeldink says:

And that hit drove in some runs. Way to go Bubba!

  12. BubbaFan says:

And they actually do know about Hermanson…

  13. smartelf says:

Ah, my first mid-game nap of the season,… and I did wake up to hear Crosby drive in 2 go ahead runs.

  14. BubbaFan says:

Sounds like it was sort of a lucky hit. But hey, I’ll take it. 😀

  15. smartelf says:

These announcers are so damn boring they put me straight to sleep… my apologies. This would have never happened if Marty and son had been doing the game.

  16. Zeldink says:

If I never hear the Bert Blyleven, Private Eye commercial again, it’ll be too soon. How many bad baseball puns can one 30 second spot contain?

  17. smartelf says:

How did the Reds score their 2nd run?

  18. smartelf says:

Moeller drives in Votto with a line drive base hit.
    Gil lines out.
    Bubba Crosby at-bat.

  19. smartelf says:

Crosby flies out to RF. Reds 5-2 lead heading to the bottom of the 9th.

  20. smartelf says:

Some unheard of pitcher on for the Reds…Kerschner?

  21. smartelf says:

Strike 3 looking…AND THIS ONE BELONGS TO THE REDS!

  22. BubbaFan says:

No problem closing it out this time.

Maybe Kershner can be the closer! 😀
