3/16 Reds versus Blue Jays

Reds host the Blue Jays again today with Milton taking the mound. Earlier this week when the Reds hosted the Jays, Matt Belisle got the ball to lead the Reds to a 0-3 victory. Here's hoping they can keep it going.

Chris Denorfia RF
Alex Gonzalez SS
Josh Hamilton DH
Jeff Conine 1B
David Ross C
Juan Castro 3B
Norris Hopper LF
Dewayne Wise CF
Anderson Machado 2B
Eric Milton P

As usual, thanks to C. Trent for the line-up. I had to look up whether RF or LF was “7”.

This is the game David Ross gets back on track.

  2. smartelf says:

    RAIN DELAY :doze:

  3. Red Hot Mama says:

Has David Ross been off track? I told you we should have traded him in the off-season!

  4. smartelf says:

I mostly like his power, and we’ll see how he does when the games matter most.

    GAME CANCELED.
    😥

    The game’s not cancelled yet.

I just tuned in to the MLB Gameday Audio and after hearing “Who’s on First?” by Abbot and Costello, Steve Stewart came on and announced that the plan was to still play the game.

We’ll see. Another Grapefruit League game has already been cancelled today due to the rain.

  6. Red Hot Mama says:

That’s surprising: Reds.com says that the game is cancelled, too. Of course, if I have to choose whether to believe Steve Stewart or Reds.com, I’m going with The Bad Boy every time.

Trent and John Fay announced the game was rained out half an hour before they told the people sitting in the stands. Sheesh.

Here in upstate NY, it’s snowing like crazy. I had to scrape about 8″ off my car before driving home from work, and they’re expecting another foot or so. 😛

Wow, what a lineup. DeWayne Wise in CF? Andy Machado at 2B? Was this supposed to be a “B” game?

Last night I hit the local Starbucks with a friend of mine and at around 9:30 or so at night (according to the dashboard clock in her truck) they said on the radio that it was 41 degrees out. This morning I woke up and looked outside and was shocked to see that almost a foot of snow had fallen overnight. I swear the next time one of the Reds beat writers whines about it being cold in Florida because it gets down to the 50s, I’m going to e-mail him and tell him to quit being such a baby.

Hard to see anybody but Belisle being the #5 starter at this point….
