Next Game
The Reds continue the series with the Brewers at 8:10 p.m. ET. Homer Bailey (1-2, 3.77 ERA) takes the mound for the Reds against Yovani Gallardo (1-3, 5.79 ERA).

What a Relief
The Reds bullpen leads the National League. It hasn’t given up a run in 8 games (23 1/3 innings).

What to Say to Sound Smart at the Water Cooler
The Reds’ pitchers’ 17 strikeouts in Sunday’s game tied the franchise record for strikeouts in a 9-inning game. The last time that many Ks were recorded in 9-innings was May 23, 2008 when Edison Volquez and crew did it against the Padres.
